And the gold medal goes to…

Last Friday night, our fellow group of APO brothers got together for the first annual APOlympics! Yay!

Split into two teams: Team Alpha and Team Phi, we went through a series of events, challenges, and games for the duration of the night.

One of the most memorable activities that we did was the Cup Noodle Challenge. Initially I thought, "eating cup noodles? easy right?", but little did I know, it was much harder than I imagined. Each team had four cup noodles, and essentially, the who who finishes all four cup noodle (including all the soup) wins. As simple as that sounds, chugging a cup of burning hot MSG was not the greatest idea. Regardless, it was still hilarious to watch each other struggle.

After finishing our indoor games, we moved outdoors to a game of ultimate and Capture the Flag! Not having played ultimate for almost a year now, I was quite excited to be honest. That being said, after an intense, closely-scored game (jk my team got stomped), my team losy it reminded me how much I missed playing ultimate and I hope to pick up playing frisbee again this summer! :)

At the very end, despite the competitiveness throughout the night, Team Phi (yay to my team) took home the trophy and we concluded the night with prizes for the winners!

Cheers to an amazing night filled with laughter and fun and shoutout to the fellowship team for their planning :)
